Collect

You collect the bake once it has rested.

We finish the visit by handing you the bake you asked for, once it has rested. You tell us the bake and the number. Bread leaves with a crisp crust and a soft interior. A pastry leaves once it is pleasant to carry. A question about the day goes through the contact page. A catering booking is not part of this collection, and neither is dietary or medical advice.

What happens when you come to collect

Collection: We hand the bake over at the bakery after it has rested. Ask on the contact page if you want it set aside before you come. Tell us the bake and the number, and we will say when it is ready.

Collection day: We name the collection day when you ask through the contact page. We do not print a fixed week on this page. We also say whether that bake has rested. A hot bake is not handed over early to save a wait.

Reply: We reply to a bake question within one business day when the bakery is open. The reply names the bake and the day. It does not offer dietary or medical advice.

How a collection goes

  1. Arrival When you arrive, tell us your name and the bake you asked for. We bring it to the front of the bakery. If it is still too hot, it stays until the inside has settled.
  2. The check We bring the bake once it has rested. Bread has a brown crust and a soft middle. A croissant is flaky, and a tart has fruit on a cool pastry base. You collect it ready to carry, for the table you have in mind.
  3. A second bake If you also want something else, name that bake and the number. We bake it only when the oven time is free. A second bake is still not a catering booking. It is mixed, baked, and rested on its own.
  4. What is not included This collection is the bake you named, rested and ready for your table. A catering booking sits outside it, and we do not give dietary or medical advice. You confirm the day through the contact page, and the pages themselves take no payment. If a food should stay out of the dough, say so before we mix.
